Moody\u2019s, the international credit rating agency, has affirmed ORLEN\u2019s long-term rating at A3. The agency highlighted the Group\u2019s strong liquidity and resilience in a period of commodity price volatility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMoody\u2019s strong assessment of ORLEN\u2019s business is further excellent news. Yesterday, we presented our results for a record 2025 \u2013 a year in which we delivered the largest investment programme in ORLEN\u2019s history and created the capacity to pay our highest-ever dividend. This is the Energy of Tomorrow in practice,\u201dsaid Ireneusz F\u0105fara, President of the ORLEN Management Board and CEO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In its report, Moody\u2019s Ratings affirmed ORLEN\u2019s long-term issuer rating at A3 with a stable outlook, as well as the ratings of all rated debt instruments of the Group. The agency noted that the decision reflects the resilience of ORLEN\u2019s business model through successive periods of commodity price volatility. Another factor supporting the rating was the Group\u2019s very strong financial position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moody\u2019s maintained ORLEN\u2019s Baseline Credit Assessment (BCA) at baa2, citing the Group\u2019s strong balance sheet, which provides \u201croom to execute its ambitious investment programme\u201d. The financial resources already accumulated and forecast to be generated are, in Moody\u2019s analysts\u2019 assessment, \u201cmore than sufficient\u201d to fund not only the Group\u2019s capital expenditure but also the declared dividend levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moody\u2019s also noted that ORLEN\u2019s strategic importance to the Polish economy \u2013 including Poland\u2019s energy security and energy transition \u2013 provides additional support to the Group\u2019s credit assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the report, ORLEN\u2019s operational resilience is further underpinned by its well-diversified hydrocarbon supply portfolio and flexible trading capabilities in natural gas, which enable effective management of commodity exposure. Exposure to risks arising from a potential further deterioration of the Middle East conflict is mitigated by the Group\u2019s Upstream operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The agency highlighted that the Group\u2019s diversified portfolio and flexible trading capabilities strengthen supply chain resilience.
